NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO FILL VACANCY FOR DISTRICT 5 COMMISSIONER
The Traverse County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing at 10:10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the Traverse County Courthouse Annex Building Conference Room.
The purpose of the hearing is to discuss who should be appointed to fill out the rest of the term of office for District 5 on the Traverse County Board of Commissioners, which is vacant due to the resignation of former Commissioner Tom Monson. The public is invited to attend to provide testimony relating to the qualifications of prospective appointees to fill the vacancy. Written testimony submitted in advance of the public hearing will also be considered. Testimony from residents of District 5 is strongly encouraged.

The deadline for submission of written testimony on behalf of a candidate is also on May 13, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. Please include your full name and complete mailing address with all correspondences.
