The Traverse County Board of Commissioners are seeking individuals interested in being appointed to two separate Committees:

1. Joint Planning Commission and Board of Adjustments Position; and
2.  Bois de Sioux Watershed District Manager Position

JOINT PLANNING COMMISSION AND BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT POSITION

The Traverse County Board of Commissioners is seeking two individuals interested in being appointed to a joint position on the Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment for a term of three years (April 2026 – March 2029).  The purpose of the Planning Commission is to review Conditional Use Permit applications and zoning requests and develop recommendations for the County Board. The purpose of the Board of Adjustment is to review and act on requests for Variances and hear appeals to local decisions.  Interested parties must reside within Traverse County.  BOIS DE SIOUX WATERSHED DISTRICT MANAGER POSITION

The Traverse County Board of Commissioners is seeking individuals interested in being appointed to the Bois de Sioux Watershed District Board for a term of three years (May 1, 2026 – April 30, 2029). Interested parties must reside within Traverse County and reside within the boundaries of the Bois de Sioux Watershed District.
