The Traverse County Solid Waste Office designs
and implements an integrated
Solid Waste Management System
according to the state of Minnesota's law's &
regulations along with the County directives.
These systems are the most feasible,
environmentally sound and
institutionally acceptable with least
cost to the citizens of Traverse County.
This is done most effectively with the
waste management hierarchy which recognizes
waste reduction, recycling and resource recovery
as keys to a sustainable waste management system.
