Traverse County owns and operates a 50-bed skilled nursing home facility dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to each individual they serve in a caring and competent manner.

Prairieview Place is an independent senior living community, with services, for those age 55 or older.

Home Care Services are under a partnership called Pheasant Country Home Care, a service provided by the Traverse Care Center and Wheaton Community Hospital. Their office is located off the clinic at Wheaton Community Hospital. Home Care provides a team of professionals including registered nurses, home health aides, homemakers and volunteers to meet the needs of the clients. They care for recovering, disabled, or chronically ill people who need medical treatment or assistance with activities of daily living.
